The future of urban public transport is no longer a distant goal – it is here, now. The use of electric buses is a clear step towards a green transition.
The project, managed by DDRIÜ Nonprofit Ltd., is not only a technological leap forward, but also a real change of mindset between the public sector and the transport profession. The aim of the project is to prepare the local public sector for the transition to electric buses by training competent, aware and future-oriented decision-makers and professionals.
The project has provided managers and staff of public institutions, municipalities, public service providers and public-private partnerships with the opportunity to acquire a deeper, practice-oriented knowledge of the operation, maintenance and strategic decision-making related to electric buses.
Development through change of mindset
The Skilled e-Bus Transition project has brought not only technological but also attitudinal advances. In the long term, the project supports sustainable transport, a green transformation of the labour market and the well-being of the community as a whole.
